I love Nokomis, Florida.  Many people don't even know where it is and are surprised it is in Sarasota County.  My favorite street in Nokomis is Sunset Drive and no, it's not because of the Tiki Bar.  Well, okay maybe it has to do with the bar but, that is not the only reason. It is all about being ocean front with a private dock and no bridges to the gulf of Mexico! So last week we got to tour the newest property for sale on this street of multi million dollar homes with private docks.  The bank currently wants less than $500,000 for it and it's walking distance to the Tiki Bar. As a private pilot, I tend to admire golf courses more as a safe flat place to perform an emergency landing than anything else.  When I first saw the TPC Stadium Course, I thought that the hills made a forced landing into the lakes seem like a safer bet. Then I moved here. With two courses, 19 neighborhoods and uncountable bodies of water the whole TPC Prestancia neighborhood is a lifestyle like no other on the Suncoast.  But the proximity to the beach and humidity can mess with with anyone's hair.....
