What's the best way to conserve gas in Florida?

Image
Welcome to Florida. I probably drive less in Florida because, with the incredible weather, I tend to walk places as often as possible.  One of my neighbors who moved here from NJ swears he forgot how to turn on his TV and had to call one of his kids and ask, after he had lived in this great state for two months. But some days you will have to drive, even if it's just within your neighborhood and you're only going to the club.  In that case, if you live in a neighborhood like mine - there's is only one fuel efficient way to get there! and I don't even golf! my website

Do I need a Realtor if I'm buying in a New Development?

Welcome to Florida. I sell new residents homes in brand new developments all the time.  This almost always surprises people, until I point out that getting out of your car in a Taylor Morrison Development, meeting with a Taylor Morrison Representative and signing a Taylor Morrison contract, might not be the most prudent business practice. Don't get me wrong, Taylor Morrison builds a great product and people are invariably happy with their home when they move in.  However, if there is a Neal Homes development in the area that more suits your needs, the TM rep may not be super excited to tell you about it. That's where I come in. At a Building Site. ©John Gaudiano New Homes

Does Real Estate Change Extra Fast in Florida?

Image
Welcome to Florida. The street I grew up on has been largely unchanged since Abigail Adams climbed our small hill to watch the British bombard downtown Boston.  As a youngster, I toured Abigail's house and realized it was the same design as most of the century old homes in my neighborhood. Florida is different.  The hotel I stayed in when I first visited Sarasota has been knocked down.  I met the guy who bought it and planned to build 200 condos, he changed his mind and sold the raw land (for a profit) and now someone else is planning more expensive condos.  They broke ground this week. More people live here than New York state and more move here every day.  Yes, things keep changing and changing fast.  Not sure if it's the population growth, our perfect weather or just the idea that everything in paradise happens faster than the rest of the country.   Or maybe, I can't believe  how quickly 4 months just flew by.... © John Gaudiano My website

Should Your Realtor and His Team Dress Alike?

Welcome to Florida. Often, the first professional you meet when you relocate to our state will be your Realtor.  And with decades of experience and as captain of some of the most difficult transaction in the state, I always feel that you should only do business with Realtors whose team has a dress code.  Better yet, a UNIFORM!
