Fresh Water vs Salt Water Boating....

Image
Welcome to Paradise. I have a fun midwestern family that I am currently working with as they move their entire lives to Florida.  It's cool for them (and honestly me too), all the details and exciting things they are learning about our great state.  It's really a blast - and then the dad asked me the best way to sell his boat because he's giving up boating because salt water is corrosive. ....and I'm like "Bob, we need to talk". The thing is salt water does corrode but anything designed for salt water use is designed to combat the corrosion.  So, yeah don't bring your Hurricane deck boat designed for a lake just get a boat/engine made for salt water and enjoy yourself. 12 year old boat that has never been in fresh water ;-) My website

Why is it better raising kids in Florida?

Welcome to paradises. It's been a tough 18-24 months raising kids and dealing with a new virus but, as with much of life, you have got to decide what is acceptable risk and what your plan for the future looks like.  Of course, I have a friend in New England happy his kid is afraid of germs (and people).  That doesn't seem like a solid way to prepare your kid to face adversity in life. I believe in moderation.  I want my kid to judge the safety of a given event (risk) with the most likely outcome of the activity (reward).  This certainly seems like a great way to raise a crictical thinker.  Unless there is a "Wheel of Death" near your house.
