What Is The Future For Real Estate In Florida?

Image
Welcome to Florida. I used to go to the gym with a guy I thought was from the future.  He dressed that way and kinda acted like he knew something the rest of us didn't.  I always wanted to ask him what the future was like and if I would get to drive a flying car, but to be honest - I was a little scared of him and assumed he had a short temper and a laser gun. Like everyone from the future. So, I guess to figure out real estate values in the future you'll just have to rely on facts.  Well, this year between 300,000 and 400,000 new people will move to this state.  That's a whole bunch of people who need a place to live and also drive the economy.  I have an MBA but don't think you really need one to realize that's good news for Florida, Real Estate Values and my chosen profession. But if you do see my friend Derek From The Future, ask him too.  I would but, I'm still worried about that laser gun. My Next Car ©  John Gaudiano My Website

What's The Best Dog Breed For Florida?

Welcome to Florida. Because I'm known as a dog lover and Florida aficionado, folks new to the state will sometimes ask me about which breed is the best for the unique properties in this wonderland.  I grew up with herding breeds, terriers and hounds so have some decent breed experience and have lived both in the North and South, so also have an idea which areas are best for which breeds. Facts are facts, some breeds do better in warm weather and some people do better where it doesn't snow (okay, the truth is everyone hates the snow unless they are rich Swedes).  But let's be honest, if any breed is given a good home, a bed i

Welcome to Florida. My wife is under the impression that the state of Florida issues new residents a floppy hat, a tube of SPF 35 sunscreen and a Toyota Solara (Red Convertible).  This isn't technically true but, seems that way in certain neighborhoods.  In fact, I have seen more than one heated exchange about the benefits of a Solara vs. a Chrysler Sebring.  Okay, to be fair I may have been in such an exchange (only because I was defending my friend Steve as he was attempting to make a point, with an unlit cigar (honestly, that's gotta be another blog post)). At any rate, since watching Sonny Crocket tool around South Florida in the early 1980's most of us have thought that a convertible was a must have in the state.  To be frank, I purchased one my second day here, and found it a blast to drive in hot weather, when the sun was down.  The truth is, if your not meeting your undercover parter at 3AM in the port of Miami to arrest a bunch of drug smugglers you may be dis
