Beside The Beach are there other good Sunsets in Florida?

Welcome to Paradise. Living on the West Coast of Florida we are lucky to be able to watch the Sun dip into the Gulf of Mexico nearly every night of the year.  Sometimes though life gets in the way of watching a nice sunset if you have to drive to the beach.  Which is why some people choose to live on a golf course....

When Should Kids Learn to Drive a Boat (in Florida)?

Welcome to Paradise. Where I grew up, the 60 days of summer we had were always delightful.   Of course, I didn't learn to operate an outboard engine until my first work permitted job when I had lied and indicated I was an accomplished captain.  To be fair, I was only 14 and didn't even realize I was breaking the law working from the age of 12 with my previous employment. Seems like I'm getting off track.  The best thing to do when boating is, expect the best and plan for the worst.  Everyone needs to be a strong swimmer, no one but the captain talks when docking and EVERYONE needs to be able to drive the boat.  Regardless of age.... .     "It gets tricky in the Creek....." What's the Big Secret on The Suncoast that will make me Rich?

Welcome to Paradise. I always say that for some people it's tough to work a full day here because, it's so beautiful and so tempting to enjoy the view wherever you happen to be on the Suncoast.  The temptation to have an adult beverage and gaze at the Gulf for an afternoon can be overwhelming. And imagine if you had that view from your balcony.  You might NEVER go to work.  The only thing that could make it less than absolutely perfect is have a few random telephone/power lines between you and the gulf. Here comes the not so secret information that could really increase your net worh. The City of Longboat Key committed a few years ago to burying all power and phone lines on the island to make the main road prettier.  Everyone is paying for it but, about 50 places on the Key are going to have a DIRECT benefit of having the lines in front of their Gulf View balconies disappear.  I have one of those properties listed for sale now. Come check it out.
