What Is The Absolute Best Beach in Sarasota?

Image
Welcome to Paradise. Many people (myself included) cannot believe it took me nearly a decade of life here to visit every beach in Sarasota.  Granted, 'every beach' includes; island shoreline, private spots and several hide-a-way locations even some locales are unaware of. Sidebar: When it was time for our son to go to the beach for the first time in his life, we took him by boat to "Blue" a location many describe as an invisibly island or "sandbar". Even if he doesn't remember it, we want it to be part of our family lore.  I think that's a good call. A few times each year, folks will visit us from up north and ask to be taken to Siesta Key Beach, we love it but, also drag them to the eye hole because the view is iconic and we find it's the place they talk about the most.  We also take close friends to Midnight Pass so they can experience the thrill of walking from the ICW to the Gulf of Mexico, it's not anything someone will forget. If it's someone that is looking for affordable custom work, I represent the only builder I would feel comfortable recommending and if it's a builder inside a resort style community who builds with limited options, I have three to recommend.  The first thing to do is sit down with me and decide exactly what you are looking for and then allow me to match you up with my top recommendations for an interview. The nice thing about Sarasota, is there are many fine options to choose from.  In fact, I have heard about a couple of n

Is Old Florida More Fun Than Modern Florida?

Welcome to Paradise. When I first arrived some fast talking politician convinced me that a bullet train was exactly what Florida needed.  To my embarrassment, I attended a few Bullet Train rallies and even had a bullet hat I would wear around town.  Then I started to understand how newer wasn't always better and that like Jungle Gardens and the Eye-Hole Beach some places should be left alone. If you'd like to discuss it further, you'll find me this Sunday at the Eye-Hole on Siesta...
