Fresh Water vs Salt Water Boating....

Welcome to Paradise.

I have a fun midwestern family that I am currently working with as they move their entire lives to Florida.  It's cool for them (and honestly me too), all the details and exciting things they are learning about our great state.  It's really a blast - and then the dad asked me the best way to sell his boat because he's giving up boating because salt water is corrosive.

....and I'm like "Bob, we need to talk".

The thing is salt water does corrode but anything designed for salt water use is designed to combat the corrosion.  So, yeah don't bring your Hurricane deck boat designed for a lake just get a boat/engine made for salt water and enjoy yourself.

12 year old boat that has never been in fresh water ;-)
