What Is The Best Water Access In Florida?

There used to be a debate between beach and dock owners about the best type of water access in Florida.  Serious boaters gravitated towards canal homes and beach people the beach.  That's the way it always was throughout the entire state.

Times have changed.

Canal homes now tend to have three or more types of water access.  The gold standard is usually, a lift for a center console fishing a large dock for a sailboat and then additional access for kayaks, canoes and paddle boards.  So now most everyone says "three is better than one!"  What do you think?

For a good tour of a newer home with these three plus types of access please watch the video tour.
